The Disposable Prone Head Pad is ergonomically designed for supporting the patient in a prone position.

 

Quick access is available with the acrylic reflecting mirror. The clinical staff are able to monitor intubation and the airway passages of the patient on an ongoing basis during the operation procedure.

 

The correct positioning and ability to observe the airways is very important to patient safety.

Features:

The pad is ergonomically designed for supporting patient in prone position. With Acrylic reflecting mirror, clinical staff will monitor intubation and airway passage of patient during the whole procedure.

It can be X-rayed through and is latex free.

For Single Use only.

 

Directions for Use:

  1. Remove protective film from mirror.
  2. Adjust mirror to ensure optimal view of patient’s face when in prostrate position.
  3. Intubate patient in the supine position.
  4. Place Prone Head Pad over patient’s face and introduce tubes through lateral opening on the pad.
  5. Hold Pad firmly against patient’s face whilst turning patient into the prone position.
  6. Place Prone Head Pad centrally on mirror.
  7. Check that patient’s face rests properly on the pad and ensure no pressure on eyebrow bone and no touching of patient’s nose on mirror.
  8. Confirm that patient’s body is in neutral position.
  9. Continually check for correct intubation and clear airway passage during surgery process.

  • Single use only.
  • Do not expose to excessive cold or heat conditions.
  • Keep from direct sunlight or ultraviolet lights.
